Open Technology Solutions (OTS) is a credit union service organization (CUSO) providing technology support for three owner credit unions, serving more than 852,000 members with over $14.5 billion in assets. Prior to installing OpCon, the CUSO faced many problems with automation including:
- Inability to monitor all systems and provide notifications of issues to employees
- Only the ability to automate batch jobs
- Running 21 instances of its previous automation tool
OpCon reduced the number of employees devoted to automation by enabling end-to-end automation, customized notifications and both core and non-core processing.
OTS was able to reduce its automation staff from 12 to just one employee, and moved the other 11 to other more strategic, fulfilling roles.
